We started the week a surprise traditional Chinese lion dance. The students learned how Chinese New Year is celebrated and got to see how some of the movements of the lion dance are executed.

We experimented with tools that we could use for measuring. Some worked well, and some we realized didn't work so well.
We learned about some Japanese traditions: what colors represent, special dolls to take away bad luck, and origami!
